Four Years from Home

*for best viewing, watch in 2160p settings*

Two international student-athletes arrive at Yale from opposite sides of Europe, each carrying a lifetime shaped by their sport, family, and ambition. A Croatian track athlete, Lucija, and a German soccer goalkeeper, Constantin, navigate what it means to leave home not just geographically, but emotionally. Rather than presenting a single narrative of adaptation, Four Years From Home highlights how the same transition can be experienced in radically different ways. As their college careers progress, both athletes reflect on how living and competing far from home has changed their sense of belonging.
